The 14th edition of the International Defence Equipment and services Exhibition HEMUS - Defence, Anti-terrorism and Security will be held from 30 September au 3 October 2020 at the International Fair Plovdiv, in Bulgaria.
In 2018’s edition, an additional accent was put on the areas of cyber and border security, strategic communications and autonomous and unmanned systems.

ABOUT THE MARKET
In respect with the Bulgarian customers, HEMUS 2020 gives an unique opportunity for presenting the advantages of exhibitors’ products and services as an alternative option for the implementation of the Bulgarian Armed Forces modernization projects in accordance with the Programme for the Development of the Defence Capabilities of the Bulgarian Armed Forces, approved by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria, main of which with a secured budget within the Central Budget of the State are:
Acquisition of Core Combat Equipment for Establishing Battalion Battle Groups within the Mechanized Brigades and Acquisition of additional equipment for three battalion battle groups. Integrated logistic support over the life cycle with accompanying requirements for training, simulators, maintenance, logistics
Acquisition of a New Type of Multirole Fighter Aircraft with accompanying requirements for pilot training, ground incl. radar and navigation equipment, simulators, maintenance, logistics
Acquisition of Multipurpose Patrol Vessel with accompanying requirements for weapon systems, radar, electronic communications and navigation equipment, system integration, simulators, maintenance, logistics
Establishment of Joint Operations Centre (JOC) for the Joint Force Command (JFC) with accompanying requirements for training, simulators, maintenance
Acquisition of Lightweight Turboprop Basic Trainer Aircraft with accompanying requirements for pilot training, ground incl. radar and navigation equipment, simulators, maintenance, logistics
Acquisition of New 3D Radars
Modernization of Class E-71 Frigates
Automated Information System of the Ministry of Defence, the Bulgarian Armed Forces, Operational and Tactical HQs
